Franklin County HEA has an on-going
project...they invite people to help... we are making "Linus" blankets
for children that have to be taken out of their homes or accident
victims. They donate these blankets to the Franklin County deputies to
carry in their cars. So far they have donated about 15 blankets and are
in the process of making another 40. The officers say they can use all
the blankets we can supply. While many of the Franklin County HEA
members are making these blankets, others have donated the materials.
We can always use donated material (fleece) for the blankets. We have
also been asked to make lap robes for every patient in nursing homes.
