Goode-Barren Historical Genealogical Society - Goode Township Community Building 108 N. Walnut Street 3rd Monday of each month 10:00 a.m.   *accepting new members

Sesser Area Chamber of Commerce 4th Tuesday of the month 9:00 A.M. Sesser City Hall

Sesser-Valier Lifeline by the Sesser-Valier Ministerial Alliance distributes food on the third Tuesday of each month from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Sesser City Hall. The S-V Area Lifeline is a 501c3 charitable organization and tax deductible donations to support the ministry can be mailed to PO Box 915, Sesser, IL 62884. The service is for the residents of the S-V School District only.  Sesser-Valier Ministerial Alliance meets monthly to plan activities such as fall crusade, sports banquet, community services at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
