Nestled in a peaceful woodland setting, the Benton Civic Center is located on approximately 5 acres of scenic woodlands in beautiful Southern Illinois. This unique facility offers a variety of events year round from live musical entertainment throughout the year to the largest Christmas Craft and Gift show in Southern Illinois held on every Thanksgiving weekend.
The Benton Civic Center is well known for the quality concerts and events it hosts. Named artists ranging from oldies groups such the Platters, Marvelettes, Bill Haley's Comets, Coasters, the Drifters, Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, and Glenn Miller Orchestra to today's hit groups such as the Kentucky Headhunters and Black Stone Cherry have drawn hundreds of music lovers to the area. Watch for the Oak Ridge Boys in concert in late 2009.
