Police Department
The Sesser Police Department provides around-the-clock emergency service to the Sesser community and is responsible for enforcing the laws and ordinances of the State of Illinois and the City of Sesser. For more information, visit the Sesser Police Department page.
Street Department
The Street Department is responsible for maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, alleys, parks, as well as other responsibilities. The Street Department maintenance building is located directly across the street from City Hall, next to the Sesser Public Library.

Sewer & Water Department
The City of Sesser offers comprehensive water and sewer services to it’s residents. It’s clean, high quality water is supplied from the beautiful, nearby Rend Lake. Water and sewer rate details will be posted soon.
